The Olivetti Fax-Lab 450 is a plain-paper ink-jet fax machine with professional capabilities. It’s fast, thanks to a 14,400 bps modem which transmits a page in 7 seconds. It offers excellent paper autonomy, with a 20-page document feed and 100-sheet tray. And the ink-jet printhead retains no trace of incoming or copied documents.

The Fax-Lab 450 is easy to use, with ergonomic keys and a separate keypad for one-touch dialing of frequently used numbers. It broadcasts from memory, sending circulars to 10 numbers in real time or deferred mode, and has a memory capacity of 50 pages.

It can be used as a copier, with a speed of 2 pages per minute, or hooked up to an answerphone. You can even make a black list of telephone numbers you don’t want to receive fax from, to avoid wasting paper on junk messages. The Fax-Lab 450: the good-looking professional.
